Welcome to The Fox Inn

Landlady Ann Arney was born and bred in the village of Hawkesbury Upton and has resided at The Fox Inn since August 2006.

The Fox inn itself has been an ale house since 1784 and started as a meeting point for traders and business men, who would dig into a communal loaf, pound of cheese and a pint of real ale.

Nowadays we offer a much more extensive choice of superb home cooked food. We are also strong supporters of the “Campaign for Real Ales” and can be found in the CAMRA good beer guide.
